Cameron Christiansen is a distinguished figure at the Elsternwick Cricket Club, celebrated for his exceptional contributions both on and off the field. His Elsternwick CC cricketing journey commenced through the Hatch Competition (now known as the Craig Shield) in 1999/2000, after which he began playing in the club's 4th XI. Cameron advanced to the 2nd XI at the age of 15 before joining South Melbourne in Premier Cricket. In the 2005/06 season, he returned to Elsternwick Cricket Club, where he has been an integral member ever since.


Cameron holds the club record for the most 1st XI appearances, with 252 matches to his name. He is the leading 1st XI run-scorer in the club's history, and was named in the VSDCA team of the year in 2010/11, and South group media player of the year in 2018/19. He has captained the 1st XI in over 100 matches, guiding the team to it's last 1st XI Grand Final appearance in the 2018/19 season.


Cameron is a life member of the club through his off field contributions as Junior Coordinator, Secretary and Committee Member. He currrently holds the role of Senior Director of Cricket. He has been a four-time recipient of the prestigious Colin Fraser Club Champion Award, and has won eight 1st XI batting averages underscoring his consistent excellence and loyalty to the club.
